Emily and Allan’s quaint farm wedding in Foresters Falls, Ottawa Valley, was a delight to attend and photograph. In spite of the rain, the couple remained faithful to their original plan and showed up for their reception in a canoe, rain jackets on, while their guests waited with high anticipation.
Luckily, soon after the sun came out and we were able to capture some lovely, vibrant family and wedding party images right on the Ottawa River’s shore.
As a wedding photographer, I often have the chance to return and capture more celebrations for one family. I love it and I am grateful every time. Allan’s sister, Jean, married her beau Matthew three years ago at Jean’s family farm in Mississauga. I was beyond excited when Jean and Allan’s mom, lovely Judith, connected with me early this year to tell me that they bought a new farm in Ottawa Valley and were planning to have their son’s wedding there.
It was such a pleasure to see everyone again, I had tremendous fun and surely hope to return and create more memories for them over the coming years.
