Many times I feel that my camera is an extension of my soul. Emotions may often be a bit hard to convey. The lens gives me the chance to paint the world I see in my own colours. This also allows for connecting to others on a different level. It is always such a privilege!
I cherish all the opportunities my craft is offering me. I have clients turned friends and I am humble for the chance to tell their stories through images. Especially whenever I know they will be shared for generations. I photograph weddings, then the same couples with their babies, so I become part of their families.
Mona and Emon’s story is exactly this, I was fortunate to be called upon to capture their wedding down South back in 2011. We have enjoyed some wonderful moments together since. Now, their life together is even more rich due to the presence of a little, wonderful person: their daughter Layla.
She just turned 2 in August, I simply love this stage and I am honored to capture her growing up.
Enjoy these colourful fall photos we recently took in the ever picturesque High Park. I loved watching Lyla enjoy the world around her…playing with leaves, feeding ducks…ever little new detail made her giggle 🙂
