Storytelling is what inspires me and brings joy to my heart. I love to connect with everything around me as an observer of unfolding moments. My lens is what I use to translate the ever fleeting life’s instances into lasting visual journals. I, therefore, feel honoured every single time I am entrusted with this special role. Those I work with become important to me and the space in time we share together never goes away. It remains engraved in my consciousness and expressed vividly through the images we capture together.
Mona and Emon are special people and dear to me. I photographed their destination wedding a few years back and we are now a part of each other’s lives. Whenever we get together, we continue on from where we left it last. It is that kind of a thing.
I have photographed their darling Lyla since she was a few months old, what a delight this little girl is! Playful, energetic, expressive, imaginative, adventurous. At only 3.5 yrs old, not only she has a fascination with books. Therefore, her parents had the brilliant idea to capture this family session at the Public Library. As you will see below, it worked out pretty well and I have to say, some of the photos made me laugh out loud.
Lyla will have a little sister this May and I can’t wait to meet her!
Mona and Emon, thank you for the wonderful time spent together, here’s to many more such memorable occasions! M
