The colourful adventures of three yrs old Chase in High Park
I can’t say enough about how much I love working with children. There is such purity and spontaneity to them, they simply ‘can’t fake it’. It may take a little while to step into their world, especially if they are on the shy side, but once the connection is established, they receive you with so much joy and enthusiasm!
They love to play. At times, grownups forget how to…but kids are here to remind us not to disregard this important side of who we are. As serious as life may be, we do not need to frown on a daily basis! We just have to follow the little leaders! 🙂
I photographed Nicole and Dave’s wedding in November 2012. They were expecting at the time. I recently had the opportunity to meet their lovely three yrs old son, Chase. A delight to be around. He is fun, energetic, joyous and excited about the world around him. This was Chase’s first time in High Park and he seemed to love exploring it. Little kids adore playing with fall leaves…the colours must inspire them. Chase did lots of that, and more. Among other things, he climbed his first tree and also had his very first encounter with a swan…their ‘eye to eye’ contact was precious to capture on camera!
At the end of our adventure, Chase kept on holding my hand, it was beyond touching!
