Micky and Sam live on the West Coast and some of their family members and friends are all over Canada and the world.
I got super excited when Micky connected with me, back in the winter, to tell me all about her wedding: it was going to be an intimate party in Micky’s grandmother’s backyard in Peterborough. I just loved the idea and knew, at the time, it was going to be much fun!
Laid back yet stylish and planned to the smallest detail, the day was brilliant and I could have not asked for more in terms of the overall energy, setup, weather.
Bride and groom (and their entourage) looked gorgeous and I absolutely loved Micky’s flowy and modern gown by Australian designer ‘Grace Loves Lace‘.
I was particularly impressed with the food, cooked on the spot by the lovely staff at ‘BE Catering‘ and preceded by an oyster bar from ‘Oyster Boy‘. Everything tasted amazingly good.
The bride was very particular about ethically sourcing the meat at her wedding and bringing in wild fresh fish from ‘Ocean Wise‘. Grilled to perfection and accompanied by super tasty salads and vegetables, the meals were a delight. And so were the desserts!
Micky and Sam, thank you for allowing me the pleasure to capture such a beautiful day and hope the images we created together will bring back the amazing wedding vibe we all shared. Congratulations and hope to see you on the West Coast! Sincerely, Manuela.
